About the gallery

Soft Light Gallery started as a shared darkroom for a handful of friends. Over time the walls filled up with prints, people started asking about them, and the darkroom became a small exhibition space.

We are interested in photographs that take their time: long exposures, natural light, film grain, ordinary rooms. We do not represent artists exclusively and we do not take commission on workshop fees.

Prints in the archive are produced in small editions on cotton paper and signed by the photographer.
